St John’s Cathedral Brisbane - the Lady Chapel - to be noted are the slender columns in the Chapel which was originally dedicated to children - the architect deliberately designed the chapel so it would be on a scale that children could relate to. Over the Altar is a “triptych” painted by the local artist William Bustard. It shows various scenes from the early life of the baby Jesus including on the far left the annunciation by the angel Gabriel.
